How to make Mango Burfi at Home?
Mango Burfi is an Indian Dessert which is widely known among the sweet lovers. You can make it at home without making lots of efforts and by just using this simple recipe of Mango Burfi. One can cook it in any season or on any festival it is all time dessert which is easy to cook. Ingredients needed for making Mango burfi are listed below:
Ingredients:
• 250 gms Khoya
• 250 gms Powdered sugar
• 250 gms Ripe mango pulp
• ½ tsp Cardamom powder
• 1 tsp Pistachio, chopped
• 2 tbsp Chironji
• Orange Color(optional)
• 1 tsp Tutti-frutti, chopped.
How to make Mango Burfi:
First of all take the ripe mango pulp and add one cup of sugar in it. Now cook this in a pan over the medium heat and stir till it reduced by half. Now keep this aside and fry khoya on medium heat till it turns light brown in color. Now add remaining sugar and add that mango mixture in it and cook till it becomes semisolid. Now mix orange color in it and pours it in a greased plate immediately. Allow it to cool and then cut into diamond pieces. You can garnish it with cardamom powder, pista, chironji and kaju. Garnishing is important because every person eat the food with eyes first. Now your mango burfi is ready you can serve it any time.
